Heather Carlock
Heather Carlock is a wife, mother, entrepreneur, and accomplished business leader with more than 20 years of experience in market intelligence, advanced analytics, business and brand strategy, and organizational leadership. She is the Founder and CEO of Stratellix and the Founder and Lead Designer of Aurestone Atelier. Across her work, Heather is passionate about helping people pursue meaningful ideas, lead with confidence, and create a lasting impact.
Heather founded Stratellix from a deep appreciation for small businesses and the people behind them. Guided by the principle “Lead with Insight. Grow with Purpose,” she helps business owners navigate complexity, uncover meaningful insights, identify opportunities, and translate those insights into practical strategies. Through this work, she helps leaders bring their ideas to life and make informed decisions while remaining connected to the vision that inspired them to begin.
Through Aurestone Atelier, Heather expresses another dimension of her creativity. Inspired by strength, hope, and the beauty found throughout life’s seasons, she creates handcrafted art and décor that bring beauty, depth, and meaning to everyday spaces. Her work carries elements of her own story and seeks to help women and mothers feel seen, encouraged, and inspired.
Heather’s career spans the consumer goods, retail, energy, academic, and consulting sectors, where she has held influential roles supporting global brands and Fortune 500 companies where her work has earned top honors and awards for its strategic value and business impact. A recognized industry speaker, Heather has presented at national conferences on business strategy and analytics. Heather holds an MBA with honors from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Oklahoma.
She understands firsthand the beautiful and lively intersection of motherhood, business, and everyday life. Heather and her husband, Ryan, have been married for nearly 20 years and are raising two wonderful children. Their son, Case, is 12 and in the seventh grade, and their daughter, Adley, is two. The family is quickly approaching the adventure of having a teenager and a “threenager” at the same time. Outside of work, Heather is a marathon runner, devoted college football fan, and enthusiastic supporter at Case’s football and lacrosse games. She also loves singing and dancing with Adley and embraces nearly every opportunity to dance. An avid writer, Heather is currently working on two books inspired by her experiences as a woman, working mother, and business leader.
Heather believes motherhood and entrepreneurship are deeply intertwined. Both have strengthened her resilience, empathy, creativity, and appreciation for those who genuinely want to see others succeed. She is honored to serve on the Leadership Team for The Village for Moms in Business and looks forward to helping cultivate a supportive, encouraging community where women can build meaningful relationships, pursue their purpose, lead with confidence, and create a lasting impact.
